Invitation to host FedCSIS 2028 conference (and beyond)

The mission of the FedCSIS Conference Series is to provide a presentation, discussion and a reputable publication forum in computer science and intelligence systems. The forum invites researchers and practitioners from around the world to contribute their research results focused on their scientific and professional interests in a chosen area.

Thus far, FedCSIS has been organized in Europe, with the last editions taking place in Belgrad (Serbia, 2024) and Kraków (Poland, 2025). This year, FedCSIS 2026 will take place in Riga, Latvia. This is also where the location of FedCSIS 2027 will be announced.

The FedCSIS conferences consist of the Main Track (with designated five Topical Areas, managed by Topical Area Curators). Besides the Main Track, the authors may submit their papers to Thematic Sessions.

FedCSIS Conference Series Organizers are now seeking proposals, from the interested institutions, for hosting FedCSIS 2028, or afterwards. The proposal should contain the following information:

  • Organizing Committee members
  • Organizing institution(s)
  • Venue Information
  • Confirmed involvement of local IEEE Section(s)/Chapter(s)
  • Confirmed involvement of other professional organizations
  • Location city
  • Cultural attractions and tours
  • Proposed Budget, highlighting the registration fees
  • Travel Information (e.g. airports, weather conditions, visa requirements)
  • Sponsorship opportunities (confirmed potential sponsors, including governmental bodies and NGOs)

Note that involvement of local IEEE units is required. This includes support from the local IEEE Section.

Proposals should be sent to Marcin Paprzycki, co-Chair of the FedCSIS conference series at: marcin.paprzycki[at]ibspan.waw.pl. The deadline for proposals for FedCSIS 2028 is March 31, 2027.
