The Conference will be organized by the Riga Technical University in Latvia. Riga Technical University is the oldest technical university in the Baltics, founded in 1862. With over 13,000 students and several regional centers, RTU core activities are based on science, innovation, and industry collaboration, forming a study process that prepares the specialists required by the national economy and serves as a foundation for the country’s sustainable development. RTU faculties offer a diverse education in high technologies and engineering, as well as in social sciences and humanities.

The FedCSIS 2026 will be held at the University campus, which is located on the Ķīpsala island, just within a walking distance to the City Centre.

As the capital of Latvia and the largest city in the Baltics, Riga was founded in 1201 and today has a population of around 600,000. Riga’s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Travel to Riga

Riga is well connected, with direct flights to more than 70 destinations. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.airbaltic.com/ or through other providers. Riga also has a direct train connection to Vilnius and frequent bus services to Vilnius.

By bus: City bus No. 22 connects the airport to the city center. To reach the campus directly, transfer from Slokas Street to buses 37, 41, 53 or trolleybuses 5, 12, and 25.

By taxi: Licensed taxi operators include XTaxi, TaksiLV, and Red Cab. All licensed taxis display official tariffs on the car doors. Please avoid unlicensed providers.

By ride-hailing: Bolt (https://bolt.eu/en-lv/) operates in Riga. There is no Uber service.
